The NAI welcomes InMarket’s Joshua Koran to the NAI Board of Directors
Joshua Koran is a pioneer in digital advertising and online privacy. As the Chief Product Officer of InMarket, Joshua is responsible for the vision and product development of the company’s award-winning media exploration, engagement and in-flight optimization solutions. Prior to joining InMarket, Joshua served as Executive Vice President of Data and Policy at Criteo.
He has over 25 years of innovation experience, leading product development and commercialization at other public digital marketing companies, such as Zeta, Sizmek, AT&T, ValueClick and Yahoo!. As an internationally acclaimed leader in digital marketing, Business Insider recognized Joshua as among the top tech experts “determining the future of digital advertising” while Adweek recognized him as one of the top 12 innovators in this ecosystem.
Throughout his career, Joshua has been a leading contributor to the Internet privacy standards, such as the self-regulatory codes of conduct for NAI & MMA, as well as co-architecting the DAA AdChoices and IAB EU’s Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF). He has also been a vocal participant within the W3C, Partnership for Responsible Addressable Media (PRAM), Prebid, and IAB TechLab to ensure we appropriately balance people’s important privacy rights with the business needs for interoperability that support the broader digital ecosystem.
Over the course of his career, Joshua has been granted 26 patents in this field. He holds a JD from Hastings College of the Law, an MBA from Oxford University and a BA from Boston College.
